Privacy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

Last updated 22 August 2026

CompoundLocal is one person doing the work. This page says exactly what happens to the details you type into the form on this site — no more, no less.

What the form collects

The contact form on the home page asks for three things:

That is the whole list. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, no analytics script and no third-party cookie on this site — so nothing else about you is collected while you read it.

Where it goes

The form is handled by Formspree, a form service. When you press submit, your details go to Formspree, which forwards them to my inbox and keeps a copy in its own system. Formspree publishes its own privacy terms at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

From there the details sit in my email and in my own records. They are not sold, and they are not passed to anyone else to market to you.

What it is used for

One thing: to reply to you, and — if you asked for the free visibility check — to look up your business on Google and in AI assistants and send you what we found. If you do not reply, that is the end of it.

How long we keep it

As long as we are talking, and for a while afterwards in case you come back. There is no fixed deletion date — if you want one, ask and we will delete it on the spot, rather than promise you a schedule we do not run.

How to have it removed

Email manager@compoundlocal.com and say you want your details removed. No reason needed, no form to fill in. You will get confirmation once it is done.

The same address works if you want to know what we hold about you, or to correct it.

If we emailed you first

If a message from us landed in your inbox without you asking, it came from public business listings and from your own business website. Every one of those messages says it is an advertisement, carries our postal address, and tells you how to stop them. Reply and say stop, or write to the address above, and we take you off the list. We do it by hand today, so give us a business day — and if another message reaches you after that, tell us: it would be our mistake to fix, not yours to chase.
